"And I hold the keys of death and Hades." (Revelation 1:18)

When we acknowledge that Jesus has all power and authority, even over death, then we can join Paul is his affirmation of faith, "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." (Philippians 1:21)

Relinquishing control of life means also relinquishing control of death - not that we have any control over death in the first place.

Yes there are things we can do, and should do, to live healthier lives. Our physical well-being is important but not just to add more years to our lives but to have more time to serve Him who has all authority.

If we are willing to let Him guide our life, we need also to remember He will guide of death, also.

Don't be afraid for Him to put the keys into the lock.
